seibon service

Has neone dealt with seibons customer service???? it sucks.... I got a couple little problems with my cf hood and their tellin me i need to to take photos and send them in and if they can SEE a problem they will take the proper step to fixing it......I asked what would that be and the guy blake says will talk about that if we get there.....I paid good money for a quality hood i just cant understand why i need to go through the b/s when im the one paying for a quality product...notice me stressing the word quality

You're upset that you have to prove you have a defective product? Shipping out a new hood isn't the cheapest thing in the world I can see why they would want proof before they did anything.

So send them some pictures, prove they are wrong for questioning you, and demand they fix it.

Oh that would piss me off too. Them giving you attitude like that is crap. I thought from your first post you where upset about them requesting pictures.

I'd get the picts like they asked then call back and ask for the manager. Good Luck, if all else fails dispute the charge.

I think that even if you do prove them wrong and their hood is defective, YOU might have to pay to send it back AND to receive another one. I've heard of a few stories just like this already. In the end alot of people just paint their hoods if it comes with scratches or small bubbles in order to not deal with the big shipping charges. I hope everything turns out good for you man.

Wow that sucks really bad. My Seibon CF hood was perfect but had shitty fitment, the complete opposite lol. We finally got it on there though. And my Seibon CF trunk I took it some where to get done because I did not want to be the one drilling the holes for it lol. Everything comes with its price.

yea i just got a carbon fiber hood from seibon too, for me the problem was these 2 rubber things above the latch on the plastic part. I took both of these things off and the hood closed with a nice snap. The customer service for me though when i called wasn't that great, they just told me that i shouldnt do it myself and professional installation was recommended. Fitament was perfect for me.

It's hard to get anything taken care of it the cost of the product exceeds a 100 bucks these days. My monitor was one week beyond it's warranty and Sony refused to cover it. That was $500 for basically leasing a Sony monitor for one year and one week. Oh well. :/
