Removing panel under driver's footwell?
Does anyone know how to remove the plastic panel under driver's footwell in the coupe? I turned that little lock thing, but it still won't come out and I don't want to break it...
I feel like I missing something reeeeeally simple... Thanks J

Are you speaking of the dead pedal? If so, there are 2 little lock things. The one on top will have to be turned counter-clock and also push a screwdriver in the bottom hole, turn counter clock wise, you should notice that the whole circle peice will move, just a few turns and give it a tug. To put it back in place it is very easy, just push on, should hear a few clicks.
Hope this helped. |

Thanks for the illumination instructions! That's what I want to do in the end, but I'm going to use 10mm blue LEDs, and not those bizarre-looking lights in the instructions :)
And don't worry about the post, BURN... it would have been a lot easier to understand what I was talking about if I actually knew what the part was called :) J
