Removing panel under driver's footwell?

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic panel under driver's footwell in the coupe? I turned that little lock thing, but it still won't come out and I don't want to break it...
I feel like I missing something reeeeeally simple...

Thanks
J

Are you speaking of the dead pedal? If so, there are 2 little lock things. The one on top will have to be turned counter-clock and also push a screwdriver in the bottom hole, turn counter clock wise, you should notice that the whole circle peice will move, just a few turns and give it a tug. To put it back in place it is very easy, just push on, should hear a few clicks.

Hope this helped.

the bottom plastic panel requires you to twist that knob, which you have done, and then there are 2 pop clips, so it just pops out.

That's the one I'm talking about... so are the clips towards the front of the car or the back?

Thanks for the illumination instructions! That's what I want to do in the end, but I'm going to use 10mm blue LEDs, and not those bizarre-looking lights in the instructions :)
And don't worry about the post, BURN... it would have been a lot easier to understand what I was talking about if I actually knew what the part was called :)
