You should've yanked the nav unit and all the wiring for it while the dash was off, then you'll have a nice little shelf for the extra cans of slim fast.

I bet the nav weighs more than the insulation.

i dont know if your talking to me or the op? but if it is me i already have cai/IMG/rh/e + reflash. so i think i can afford performance parts, im just trying to get a good power to weight ratio. and if you are talking to the op then you might want to look at his ride because from the looks of his i car think he might be able to afford parts.

the reason i think hes doing all this weight reduction is so he can have more of a type R like car.

to break up the sound deadening material (looks kinda like dynomat) in the chassis....the ice freezes it and if you hit it with a rubber mallet, it pulls right off the metal...easy.

if you wear any type of rubber gloves ull be perfectly fine. you can hold it for a few seconds with out a problem too.
