Triple Gauge Piller Pod

After reading through numerous threads I found only one person has the triple gauge piller pod from glow shift. But, no pictures have been posted. I also came across a discussion about the side air bags, the side air bag is located above the door not on the piller is this right??

I was considering getting the Vacuum gauge, Volt gauge (for my system), and Water temp. gauge. But....what purpose does the vacuum gauge and water temp gauge serve??

Unless your car is boosted, the vac/boost guage is useless.

I know the A/F gauge is Narrow Band and our 02 sensor is wide band. Also, I read that if you tap into the 02 sensor it will mess up you A/F ratio.

You should email a glowshift retailer and make sure it won't interfere with the airbag operation
(even if the airbag is above the window as ImAuthenticFTW has shown)...

*Edited so as not to confuse anyone.

You should email a glowshift retailer and ask about it before you ever think about buying...

once again this info is not true, the aitbag is not in the pillar but above the window, i had links to pictures in the thread the OP is referring too. AIRBAGS NOT IN PILLAR!!!

This is the most ridiculous thread ever. You want extra gauges but have no idea what they're for?

I researched a little bit and found out the airbag is in the pillar. The picture you were looking at wasnt from a Honda civic.

I also contact GlowShift.....

Samantha: Ok. We tell all our customers that you can not install the items with the side air bags, but in fact the only reason we say that is because if the air bag is deployed then the pod could harm someone
Samantha: If you would like to instal the item on your car, simply disconnect the airbag or simply it alone and install the pod over it.
Samantha: The pod is made from a factory 06 Civic SI and fits the civic 100%
Samantha: As for installing the item with a car with an airbag you install it at your own risk

(from Honda website)

It doesn't matter where you think it comes from.
The fact is, he contacted glowshift and they flat out said "you probably shouldn't install it without disabling the side airbag unless you want to risk injury if it deploys".

So who cares where it comes from.
Information that can help you make an intelligent decision >>>> semantics.

i'm also sorry but have you first hand seen a side curtain airbag deployed??? i have and yes it was in an 8th gen civic and it came from uptop and the pillar was untouched. glowshift make pillars for im sure many other cars and im sure not everyone in the company knows everything about EVERY car they make things for.
you can also looks at this site, http://www.howsafeisyourcar.com.au/curtain_airbags.php

For the final time... THERE IS NO AIRBAG IN THE FRONT PILLARS None, nada, aboslutely bare metal! If anyone installs pillar pods you will be fine. The Pillars are not designed to come off in the event of airbag deployment.
