To Tape or not to Tape

Ok, so I want to TAPE my front end before I head home tomorrow night. I don't know what kinda TAPE to use. Is it painters tape? or what should I use that won't leave a sticky residue on a 12hr road trip.

it is painters tape I used to tape up cars for a body shop and it leaves no residue behind, use 3m, cheap stuff can leave some residue

blue painters tape.

make sure it's LOW adhesive. It should have the marking on the wrapping if it's the 3M stuff.

I use it everytime I go to the track, leaves my front end, my skirts in mint shape everytime after. 2 rolls last me 3 track days, and it's only 10 bucks a roll up here. Beats getting a stone chip, that's for sure.

blue tape trees haven't filed a protest on me abusing it yet

wal mart should have it. the good stuff is usually blue. the cheap stuff when baked under the sun or gets wet will more than likely leave crap behind.

I second duct tape. It sounds like it would make for a good pictures thread after you remove it. :P
