Word man! They make many different cars for many different people! It's odd I don't like it, because in general I like hatches...hell, I owned an 83 Rabbit GTI---loved that car

Wow an 83 GTI is a classic. A fiend of mine in high school had one.

That technically can be counted as fraud, not sure what they'd do if they found out.

what i dont get is, you would think Honda as a whole would just be offering these parts with "$-signs" in their eyes & be raking in the endless profit from the absurd asking price but knowing full well ppl will still pay up *coughMEcough*

apparently, they dont like to make money on this aspect of it anyways... it seriously blows my mind...

oh & p.s.- obviously others care and/or are interested or else there wouldn't be 11 members viewing this thread within 5 minutes of me posting it up. lol!!
its not about the money bro.. dont be so narrow minded.. its about the exclusive parts.. or rare parts that makes the mugen rare.. :) anyway

you should know better since u work there

I don't mean to bash EP3 owners...My personal opinion is that they are ugly...to each his own though
add a body kit and lower them.. and i bet they would have sold like hotcakes..
i know i test drove the 03 civic si and was not pleased by the body moldings or the output of the motor.. back on topic

well..

BMW won't let you order any CSL parts unless you can prove you own a CSL.. the reason is to keep the exclusivity and rarity just that.. I wouldn't get all riled up about it, it's just a car.

Fraud of what kind? I paid for the part to a car that I own. ok then, I could say i just damaged mine and need a new one. I own the car, I am paying for the part, if its in my possession, I am eligible to do what i want with it. They cant tell me " although you paid for this mugen Si, you can not sell any parts on it.", thats my free will. they might tell me that i cant get a replacement part because i sold the other one, but i could use the excuse that i have no use for it because is damage.

Waahh waaahh I can't buy parts to make my car look like a real Mugen Si! WAHHH!!

Seriously. This is up there with putting Civic Type-R stickers all over your cars because they are "JDM" and "cool". Your car will never be a real Type-R, or real Mugen Si. Don't fake the funk!

If you don't own a Mugen Si, why would you want the parts. If you want the real JDM Mugen parts, but them from King. No need to knock off something you don't have.

personal preference. some people like the way it looks. I'm pretty sure they know its not a real type r or mugen si when they put on the badges.

Saying that it's personal preference and that they like how it looks doesn't justify it.

I'm sure all the ricers you guys make fun of love how their riceboxes look as well.

justify what? you cant tell people what to and not to put on their cars. if they like it, they could put it on. thats just like people putting Si stickers and badges on their regular civics. they have their reasons for putting them on, maybe they cant afford a real Si but thats not up to us. so yes, saying its personal preference does justify it.

By your logic no one should hate on riced up cars. There is a huge thread here about ricey cars.

I don't wanna argue with you about this. I just think complex made a pretty good point. If you can get the parts for your car that's fine. Do whatever makes you happy. If you can't get the parts then don't cry about it. Get the non-exclusive mugen parts from king motorsports or get over it.

I dont want to argue as well, in fact i agree with you to an extent. i dont care if people hate on ricers, its really none of my business. all I'm saying that it is peoples personal preference to put what ever on their cars but keep it in the Ricer Hater threads. lets keep this thread clean and not bash people that really want the parts.

To the members who keep posting that they work at a Honda dealership and can get you parts...your posts have been deleted, as it's not permitted to sell like this unless you're a vendor.

If it continues, I'm trashing this thread.
