mugen for the us-spec civic??

hey I didn't know where this thread was suppose to go so its here.
So i read somewhere that mugen is making or made a mugen us-spec civic. I was just wondering if anyone else heard of this. If this is not true....sorry for getting ur hopes up...

Are you referring to the 8th gen? I haven't seen anything from them. They're trying to do something with the Fit (as in offer a Fit of their own), but their Dominator stuff for the 8th gen is just a concept and as of now will never see the light of day. That's not quite the US-Spec, but it shares similarities with the Canadian CSX (Canada being a part of North America, which may've been what you read).

Dunno. I'm just theoretically talking of course, so somebody else may be able to comment on this with more accuracy than me :)

Yea I haven't heard anything either but I wish they would as I'd love to see a Dominator version of the US Spec Si

i saw the dominator too. but in a mag it said sumthin about mugen making a supercharged us-spec civic. if not, eh...if so...it would be tyt

The Dominator IS the supercharged civic.
Mugen will not be supporting the US market and rarely has in the past.

The Dominator...think it was in Super Street...was the K20, the article said that the supercharger may be able to fit our USDM Si's with minor modifications. While it's not a complete solution, we're getting closer. And damn how nice would it be to have a Mugen S/C in an Si with shaved Si badges and a stock Ex grille. SLEEEEEEEPER.
