Custom seat track for EX coupe

Hey guys,

I need to figure out a way to extend the seat track in my civic. i simply do not have enough legroom even with the seat all the way back. It's a complicated story, one that I'm not even gonna bother telling.

But basically, I'm trying to sell my car because of this problem. So if there is a way to do this, I'd greatly appreciate hearing your inputs.

could you move the entire seat backwards, bracket and all? My friend (he's 7'2") had to do that in his old caprice.

This is the reason I have my Si. I bought a CRV with great intentions, but after short while I noticed I didnt have near enough room to be comfortable. I really like that car/suv & Id still be happily driving it today if it werent for the same issue youre having. I was told I couldnt change anything (seatrails) due to the fact it would change where the airbags would fire & how they would protect.

that is what im actually afraid of. but I've had a number of people tell me that by having the seat move back 4-6" farther back it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

I dunno.. It worries me to be honest.

It's not complicated if your 7ft+. If you have some stupid ass reason than learn to drive normal. I'm 6ft and if i slide my seat all the way back i don't think i'd reach the pedals.
