I Want to mod my car

Hey I'm kinda new at this thing, but I had my 06 civic since Oct 05. And I'm gettin pretty bored with it. So I need some ideas on CHEAP ways to "hook up my whip" LOL. I have the basic layout, cloth int with the atomic blue ext. I'm gettin a system pretty soon, but other then that, what can I do? HELP PLEASE!!

Lol looking past your desperate title.. What do you wanna do to the car? If making it faster is your priority, either

A) Sell it

or

B) Invest a lot of money into a nitrous setup

Here is the best way to "hook up" your Honda Civic:

1)Change the oil regularly and do your routine maintinence.
2)Try not to hit anything.

Aside from that, I "hookedz up my ridez yo" by adding some window tint, because I didn't want to fish bowl it. 5% all the way around.

At most I will add some wheels later, and mabey add a drop in K&N filter. There really isn't much you can do performance wise with these engines, and IMO, not really worth doing. Civic= daily driver :)

cheap mods lead to rice. either save money slowly and spend it on good parts, or dont bother.

well I got Tint already since I live in sunny FL. And rims are deff on the list. I'd like to change my pipe because the stock one is FUGLY! lol also I'd like a real spoiler instead the that stupid lip that's on it already. I don't really care for speed because I don't race. I just would like to get the physical apearance to be a lil more attractive. I'm savin up some money to get a body kit as well. but obviously that takes time. What color rims would look good on the blue? I was thinking Black with crome lips. but the blue is just so weird! ugh!

Bodykit= garbage.

The best looking body cladding I've seen so far is the Honda Factory Performance stuff, it looks good and is not ricey. Everything else looks like crap.

I don't know why you think the rear spoiler looks ugly, I think the LX/EX spoiler looks good, it's subtle and clean.

As far as wheels, I was going to get some bronze wheels later down the road, mabey like 5Zigen FN01RCs. I have Atomic Blue Metallic as well.

the exhaust will average you around $500. greddy, apexi, tannabe, skunk2 are all very popular.

the spoiler will require you to either swap trunks with an SI, but since the si didnt come in atomic blue you cant do that. otherwise you need to remove your lip spoiler, have the trunk holes plugged, and tehn repainted. probably a $300-400 job. then you can put a spoiler on.

body kit...i would suggest the hfp kit from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com it is about $860+shipping.

well the spoiler is clean and classy (which I am :) but I'm lookin for something to set me aside from all the other cars that look like mine lol. and I hate the rice burner look. I'm asian and all but still! haha maybe those things that make ur tail lights black? i dunno just a thought! don't laugh at me or else!

call your boyfriend. it sounds like he's already not giving you enough attention if you are comming onto a car site and, despite sounding truly pathetic, asking essentially how "rice" up the car. You can get almost all of the parts that you are mentioning at pep boys or auto zone. APC sounds like just the brand for you. I dont mean to hate on your parade but carefully read your posts. either you don't realize what you are saying and think that you are being cute...or you are purposly trying to instigate on a site where the population is something like 99% male.
