i'd do it not for looks....but for protection. my girl already hit my door on someone else's car twice...dad did it once...even after telling them be careful..i hate dings and i'd get those just to atleast prevent it on my end.

only for show... and by show i mean that there are no stock parts on your civic anywhere. no way on a daily driver... spend the money on something else, something that will get you chicks. haha

A guy I work with just bought an '04 Accord Coupe that has these doors for his teenage son. He saw the car on Ebay and is having it shipped down from Chicago.
I told him I thought he was making a huge mistake

can't the dor still open all theway and then swing up with those kits? So there would still be the chance of someone not paying attention to smack your door into another car. Considering how little most dings cost to repaor, installing lambo doors just to try and maybe prevent dings seems like total overkill.

You would need a sliding rail for something like that.

Lambo doors are a waste of money. Trust me I've seen VDC and JT Auto's lambo doors and most of it is crap. You can open the door slightly the normal way to squeeze in but you'll get tired of it quickly. Doors not closing properly, blown shocks, hinges rubbing on fenders, to the door seal not sealing right so water leaks in....just a s bad investment if you ask me.

The coupe's doors are way too big for that to look sane.

I think it looks pretty hot. I've always though lambo doors were hot, but I do think that if it was on my daily driving car, after a while I would get tired of them, but still think they look hot.
