Custom Leather Interiors

Hey guys,

I am going to be buying my new civic soon and im trying to figure out the cheapest way....would it be cheaper to buy a EX and have a custom leather interior put in or just go with the EX-L and absorb the added sticker price. Does anyone know of any custom or aftermarket interior companies?

Thanks,
Rob

i know alot in vancouver, however i know doing it at the dealer for the 2008 model options is by FAR cheaper. For your comparison, the cheapest shop i know that works closely with the honda dealers start off at 500 for just the two seats (note TWO seats not four)

IMO factory is the best, just spend a lil more and go with the EX-L

in louisiana the katzkin kits sell for around $895 installed. exl from honda will est. cost around $1700 more than ex, but when u go to get rid of civic exl down the road from now, you will still have a $1700 higher resale value over ex in the NADA book. not to mension the factory warrenty against defects.if u wanted to add leather to an lx i could understand the cost savings but if u r getting the ex model u would be silly not to spend a little more-just my opinion......

I've used Katzkin in a previous vehicle. The product was very acceptable. At the time I did the installation, I went ahead and added heated seat elements to the front seats. A perfect time to do it.

It would have been nice to have had leather on m '07, but it wasn't available. At least this way I'll be able to get the leather I want AND have heated seats.

The dealer did mine in my 07 FA5 along with my door panels. Even did the red stitching and si logos in the seats. I can post tomorrow if anyone would like to see.
