smoked my tail lights!

i smoked my tail lights, my 3rd brake light, and my rear honda H emblem here are some pictures of the fiished product i started with adhesion promoter and charcoal stain both i found at the local Hobby Lobby then finished with automotive clear coat from Oreilly`s then i applied a couple of coats of wax and i love the way it looks it appears dark black in the shade and in the sun it is a dark cherry red. what do u think??

they are very dark but they still light up like there is nothing on them the stain i used transfers light better than any other transparent paint i have seen yet
