Getting front bumper painted

Last week, I was hit by a small boulder that was kicked up by someone and when I got home I found a spot on my bumper about the size of a quarter that is missing paint. I called Honda to bitch about the crappy paint, they said sorry, it's not warranty. I asked them if they knew of anyone in the area who was cheap. They said they send all their used cars over to this shop who will paint any body panel for $125, if I tell them Honda sent me.

Well, it's going in next Tuesday. They are also going to fix all the other rock chips in the front and fill in my licenses plate mounting hole. This way I can do the JDM plate mount.

I have my hood, fenders, and mirrors clear bra'd, but didn't do the bumper. I don't think a clear bra would have stopped this rock anyway!

You get what you pay for- sounds like for $125 the person is goning to spot paint your bumper- which is only a quick fix. It should cost around $300-400 to get a bumper painted.....

for 125 bucks your gonna get a job that looks like you paid 125 bucks.

shell out a lil more a get a half decent job.

asm you need to get the correct amount of metallic flake and wat not or it wont look right
