Actually that looks damn good, aside from the hole. A few quick thoughts.
What are the legalities of removing the front license plate. I think in California it's legal to display your tag in only one place. True? Is there a way to remove the tag holder without drilling the bumper? The only thing that makes me nervous about removing this is that inevitably i will hit something with the front bumper and, if the plate holder is gone, it will scratch or dent the fender. We've all discovered that the hood is invisible while driving. Don't get me wrong--I love how that impacts the driving experience--but it means that one day i will misjudge where the front of my car is in relation to a tree or pole or something else. Ding! |

Looks much better :)
I took mine off as well. The front plate was on when I took delivery. When I took it off I thought there would be holes in the bumper as well, but there wasn't. Like letsgoflyers said, they have mounting brackets that screw under the bumper. |

My front license plate holder came in the trunk - still in plastic. Never really looked at it, but it would be cool if I can install it with drilling.

Hey, I get one of these?

I'm up in NH, where front display is mandatory. However, until my initial plates come in, I removed the front plate holder and to my delight, it wasn't drilled, two screws holding it into a grill bracket. I won't be too angry about having the license plate "SI" though! :-)
