You're comparing apples to oranges. What do you want, a better suspension setup or for your car to look better? Personally, I'd go with the front and rear lip. The car handles moderately well from the factory and there's a lot of room for adjustment, however I think having that addition to your appearance will always be there, whereas I wouldn't consider a suspension unless I were to take full advantage of it.

I think the kit will make it look better than a 0.5 inch drop. If you're going for looks, then the HFP suspension is the wrong way to go. Maybe you can look at the Eibach Sportline springs that will drop the car ~2".
