HFP body kit installation price?

I bought the HFP kit online and I'm having someone put it on my LX coupe. He said the price would run about $400-500.

Meanwhile the foglight installation has a lot of parts and steps, which makes it long and complicated. But he said it would only run ~$90.

Does this sound around right? or am I getting ripped off?

Any (bargaining) tips would be helpful.

No need for a jack. I know theres a DIY for fogs on here. Not many tools needed. But with the $600 you'd save, you could buy a nice little Craftsman tool set, spend about $200, A Dremel, about $100, and any other tools you may need, and still save $300 or so.

Maybe I'll consider it if I can't get the guy to lower his prices. Are they reasonable?

I dont know much about install prices, but that seems a bit extreme to me. Its just a lip kit, not an actual body kit. It just screws and tapes on.

wow... that guy is going to be insulted as hell. i dont even know if i could trust him with a proper install at that price.

the thing is that i first asked my honda dealer for an install, but those bastards wanted $50 an hour, since i didn't order the parts from them. they claimed they wouldn't be familiar with the parts, even though i explained that they are factory parts.

(i originally posted that I would offer $300, but then the above post showed up before i posted)
