none then. you get what you pay for. an expensive radar detector is better than getting a cheap one and still getting a ticket. i have the escort 8500. best 300 bucks ever. my buddy also has a v1 and they rate them really better than mine but his was 400. dont buy a cheap one. my .02

you really pay for what you get with radar detectors...Honestly if you want one, I would get the v1 or the x50. Personally I have the X50 and it's my favorite out of everyone I have ever used. I've seen the v1 in action and i would also reccomend that one. Which ever you can get the better deal on I would go for
Look at around 300 bones though...My point in posting is if your only looking to spend a hundred bucks on a cobra, save your money. B/C they suck! |

Yeah the only reason I haven't messed with jammers is not b/c they're illegal however b/c there is still a "dead-zone" where all jammers simply won't work. I think it's under 200ft it can't jam. So getting a jammer that won't work all the time or possibly when I need it. Therefore kinda tough investment for me. |

i got the latest escort 9500 with gps and its been verry good..saved me couple times since i got it(1 mo ago)...has a lot of nice features and i hardwired it myself...sometimes the alert goes on and i see no cop,but im prety sure its somewhere hiden or farther away.....if you got an agresive way of driving like myself is well worthed.... the curios fact is that now i drive much slower and im much more alert than before i owened one....which is not bad..lool ...is this hapening to anybody else? |

I kind of find those things useless now considering that the police have gotten wise to those things and put out fake signals on the highways around where I live to confuse people with detectors. Put then again, I drive a hybrid so you probably won't see me speeding too much either.
