I've seen translucent paint on a carbon hood. You could tell it was CF but it was paint matched to the car. I'll have to look for a picture.
If you are just going to paint over the hood and not see the carbon fiber you could try and find a fiberglass hood or have one made. Fiberglass is lighter then carbon fiber and less expensive. Last edited by BigMoney8481; 07-18-2007 at 04:57 PM. |
