Emblem Anxiety?????
For months i've been reading how people import the JDM emblems for their rides, but almost always there are some fitting issues that seem to drive them crazy. Especially when you are paying a pretty penny for a piece of colored plastic, or whatever it's made of.
Which brings me to my point. How is it that with all the JDM fever in the US, that no accessory manufacturer develops JDM replica emblems that fit are USDM cars, with a high quality finish? There is no way you can tell me that no company in the Big Economy that is the United States, does not have the power to make good replicas. I feel there is enough demand that someone can actually start making them, making them some money and helping us avoid those fitting issues. |

Another problem is that the Honda "H" is trademarked/copyrighted (not sure which is correct).
Every Joe just can't go and start making these, Honda's lawyers would be all over them. I talked to one of the people on Ebay who used to sell the red "H" vinyl covers for the center caps. They were contacted by Honda and told to stop selling them commercially. They told me that they can still make them and sell them, they just can't post them on the web. It's all about the $$$$ |
