E-Brake Handle

My First interior mod, I know its *** but its functional and works. I am 6'2" the car is perfect except for that dam E-brake. I had an old Ice sraper and I ripped off the foam handle, cut it down to size and wrapped my e-brake handle. Now I don't get a bruise on my knee when I am driving at high speeds in turns.

I guess it looks pretty decent
its not ugly like most DIY mods, good job
I hate how we can't replace it with an aftermarket handle

you must be one skinny guy to be sliding around enough to hit the e brake handle with your knee.

Tall and skinny, but I don't slide CG lock. My knee just kinda goes out and hit it.

My F-ing knee has had bruises from that thing, you know when you take a high speed turn and you kind support yourself against the door, well I have been doing that withe e-brake and it really left a bruise I finally said forget that and put a pad there. Its ghetto but its functional.

Isnt the seat and seatbelt supposed to support you? and not the e-brake and door?

I would think it gets in the way a bit more now but I guess it softens the blow.

Three point seat belts are fine and do their job in an accident, but to acutally hold you into your seat during truly hard cornering NO. Pull some G's through a turn and you want your leg smashed up against the door, or to the right which happens to be the E-brake Its a couple of MM's closer but the padding makes up for it triple time.

Rode the Dragon twice with no ebrake problems. Going to VIR on Monday and Tuesday so I'll see if I have a problem then.

Just odd to me cause i don't have this problem. 6'1" about 190 lb

I guess on the Dragon I feel the seatbelt holding tightly cause all the quick turns.
