Ok so I put the black grille on my car which I love but I am having a dilemma on what to do with the SI badge. I don't want to be a "poser" and want it removed but am afraid of the gap it leaves when it's cut off. Any ideas on what to do?? So far I've painted it black to blend in and it looks ok.

So, I just finished putting the same exact grille on my car. Now, I have a question about the Si emblem that's on the right. It's that piece where you can put the Si logo on and i really want to get rid of it. How do i do that? Did you have that on yours? If so, did you take it off, and how?
I'm a noob, so sorry for all the questions... |

There are 2 small screws holding up the emblem to the grill. Unscrew it and the Si will be gone. |

i think hes referring to the piece that holds the Si emblem. i took a huge saw and sawed it off, it was messy though, then i tried to sand what was left of it. wouldnt recommend what i did. other people said they "shaved" it off, and i wasnt sure what they meant by that |

These are some shots of the part of the grille i cut off, you can see in one of the pics scratches around the area where i sort of messed up.
