I've heard of some USA Honda dealers that have access to ordering any JDM parts.. Expect the pricing for the interior red carpet to be out the nose. Even in Japan/Euro, etc. replacements parts for the FD2 are marked way higher than standard Civic parts.

i figured it would be. the honda dealers where i live have no access to JDM parts. i would go aftermarket but all the aftermarket parts i bought for my last civic all had fitment issues that were not fixable. headlights didnt shine correctly. i dont want to make a nice car crap again.

unless you convert your car to right hand drive genuine OEM Type R carpet will not fit in the USDM car, the pre-cut holes will not line up.

True I had completely forgot about that!! Rhd is the only thing I'm not going to do. But where did you get your carpet? And is the quality/texture good?

My buddy recently bought red carpet for his 99 rhd Ctr clone from eBay. Came out great! It came with more than enough material so all he had to do was do some trimming and waaa laaa JDM carpet. Whatever company he went with sent him like a half dozen samples so he could get the right one before he bought. I personally have never had any issues with eBay as long as you know what to look for.

Seats are going to be an issue also (RHD) The driver seat of the type R will have all the seat adjustments facing toward the inside/arm rest center console area when you try to move it to the Left hand side. So basically the passenger gets the additional seat adjustments.
