Plastidipping front chrome piece?
Hi all, so I'm thinking of plastidipping the front chrome piece and emblem on my 08 sedan. I have a white car, so I think black would look nice, but I can't for the life of me find a picture of a white civic with the black chrome piece. Is it even possible? And if so, any pictures would be very nice. Thanks.

I've never really been a fan of the black H front emblems in general. Honestly on the sedan try plastidipping just the chrome piece of the grille. Did this on my last civic which was an 07 silver sedan and it looked awesome. The black grille contrasts very nicely with a light car and a chrome emblem. But give it a try.

Did this on my car and it looks pretty good. Pretty durable too. Pressure wash it all the time and its still going strong! Good luck!

Good luck! I did it to my nhbp civic, but I got rid of it bc it doesn't go with the black, since the plasti dip is matte. IMO should turn out good on white! but I would try doing it without doing the emblem first bc that might look better, if you don't like the look you can always plasti dip that too!

It's not difficult to do. All u need is newspaper, painters tape, n the plasti dip. First thing I would do is paint around the chrome piece then You take the newspaper n tape it to the surrounding area around the chrome piece. Like the trunk, emblem, license plate, tail lights etc protect them from the overspray. Then u spray at least 4 coats of plasti dip on the chrom piece. ( makes taking it off easier, or u could use goo gone that's what I used to take the plasti dip off my hood). N then stand back n enjoy your work!
