I love my Civic, but I think if it's around the $30K mark, might want to look for an STI or S2K for a little more.

I love my Si, but for $30,000....I'm driving a STI, or an Evo hands down.

I think I am going to have to get that rear bumper. That valance looks sick. In all honesty though, IF if the Mugen Si doesn't come with nav I would rather have a regular one with nav. For the extra money that is being spent for cosmetic upgrades, I would rather drop that extra on Advans, top end and brakes.

I hate to say this but that spoiler is useless on a fwd that has minimal power.
Expect a $3500 "market adjustment" on that car as well.

*UPDATE*
Honda just asked "My Dealership" if we wanted a Mugen Civic and they said NO b/c of the price I was like WTF I would have bought it. Well the price will be around $30k and it is only offered in Fiji Blue and Nighthawk Black. There will be 1,000 to 1,500 made only. Honda is not sure on the numbers yet but it will be more than 500.

its gonna be just like the Si... first year it comes out they are gonna say around 1500... well they will make like 5000 but only tell you 1500 to rape you on the price... (for a body kit and rims) then in 2008 there will be tones of them just like Sis now... my stealership said they get 2 a month.. well right now they have like 8 or 9

Lol, yea thats kind of funny. When i bought my si, i couldnt find one to test drive anywhere and had to wait almost 2 months for arrival. Now, i can go up the street and choose between 3 or 4 w/ navi or without and everything else. RR, NBP, or which ever color you want; they have it or can get it.

Best thing to do is buy a black or blue Si and convert it over. The only thing missing will be the numbered edition plate on the center console in front of the shifter.

You're essentially paying $10,000 for a dress up kit with a +5 to "JDM TYTE YO" and a -10 to "Respect". Anyone wh knows how much that car costs is just going to ask you why you bought a FWD slower, uglier version of the Evolution 9. I know the insurance will be lower, but if your concern is cost, you shouldn't be driving a 30k JDM propaganda on wheels.

I've said it on other Mugen related threads, and I'll say it again: Give me something I can use! I have no use for $10,000 worth of dress up crap. Give me some of that good Mugen power. Where are the twin loop exhausts for our car? What about some strut tower bars? Trickle down some of that Formula 1 engineering for us. And I know somebody is going to post up," The JDM market doesn't have our car." I know that already, but don't you think that if Mugen, or Honda for that matter wanted to get one as a test bed for products, that they would have ANY trouble whatsoever getting one? LIve up to the name, and the heritage...I want "Unlimited Power", just like all the Japanese kids.

the JDM market DOES have our car. that is why they are creating a mugen sedan. its not that parts are not available for the fa5...its just the import costs and finding the parts makes them untouchable. and besides that...mugen/honda just decided to use the money in a stupid way when it came to designing that car. just spent it in the wrong places.

i am back and forth on this. i agree with most here that it's a lot of money for minimal upgrade. but i did not know that more than 500 are being made, i thought i'd be hard pressed to even look at one in person. to the person who said more than 500 will be made, is that fact?

also, it also comes in black? the LX sedan is definitely being replaced with an Si later this year, whether it's Mugen has yet to be decided

the mugen only comes in fiji blue pearl. from what i have heard it doesnt have navi. no one knows the price yet but it is said to be between 27k-30k. I like the way it looks except the front end. I had a deposit on this car but changed my mind because i decided to just buy a regular fiji blue si sedan and convert the front end to JDM and add the mugen body kit and wing, plus I have the redshift stage 3 supercharger on its way. also adding some gram lights. I'm doing all this for about the same price as the Mugen Si. i just thought it made more sense to do everything my self and save a bunch of money. only thing i would be missing is the limited civic hype but who needs that.
