Exclamation HELP: Germ X took color out of dash

I keep a thing of germ x in my car, when it get hot and you open the top it tends to squirt out(let the jokes begin). Well it got on my dash and turned the black portion white.
I dont think it took the pigment out, I think it just dried it up A LOT!

Is there any remedy to get the color back?

I have tried soap and water and armarol.

Almost sounds like a chemical change occured. Search the detailing threads or use the search bar and you may find something.

Thanks, I have got it in the shade and the more coats of armoral that I apply the better it looks. I did search, but have not looked in detailing section

I would just use disinfectant wipes and then a damp microfibre cloth. It doesn't stain.

I'm surprised no one has suggested back to black, it works wonders and I've found it actually keeps things from getting dirty for a bit as well
