block off plates next to vsa button

What are the 2 blank/block off plates for that are next to the vsa button?

one can be for fog lights, not sure about the other. i have push start and vsa. I saw the interior illumination kit from the 9th civics and the button goes there, not sure if it is compatible with 8th gens though

Since I don't plan on doing fog lights, and have no VSA.

When I do CTR start, I'll be using blank spot for my alarm LED.

arent fog lights on the headlight stalk? that's where mine are...
