Door Molding Paint Coming Off

Hope this is in the right section. So I went through a car wash today and not sure if its because it was so hot today but when I left I noticed my driver side door on the molding that goes up along the window half of the paint or clear whatever is on that had come off in multiple spots but only on that door. Was wondering if anyone has had this problem... On my 00 civic you could replace that but on this one its like its a part of the door. Any Suggestions?

Ive seen it happen. That part can be replaced cheaply

Just an update in case anyone else has this happen... the door wrapped in piece of vinyl I was able to purchase it at the dealer for $16 it was weird to me because like I said on the older civics this was a replaceable plastic piece. Heres the part number if anyone needs it 67364-SNE-A00ZA
