the brake lights are a warning system for other drivers...some people have a hard enough time driving as it is...imo...so limiting the visiblity of brake lights by tinting them or nightshades or whatever could be a safety issue potentially, maybe cause a problem with insurance claims since the other driver might make the excuse they couldnt see you (MAYBE). other drivers could miss you braking and hit you. also the reverse lights eluminate the area behind you in the dark (personally, i wish mine were brighter, i have a hard time seeing at night when i reverse and im afraid of hitting little children or puppy dogs or big wheels. those things pop up out of nowhere)

BUT, they might look cool looking past the safety thing...

Just get smoke overlays on eBay if you want darker tail lights. They aren't that dark. But they aren't too light IMO. I think it looks good. I've had mine on my FA for over a year. I'll post a pic in a minute.

Its dark from a distance but up close or in bright sunlight you can still see red. It's perfect IMO.

They all look very sweet I may try it to see what it looks like should I just tint them instead of buying actual tail lights?

dont listen to anyone but yourself . if you like it do the overlays or smoked . do not paint them . paint doesnt come off of plastics well.

Dont tint the tail lights. Also keep in mind you can take responsibility for someone rear ending you, even though they werent paying attention.

Idk about that lol. My friends lights are dark as **** and he had his parking lights on one morning, got rear ended. At first the guy said "I thought he went." then said he couldn't see his brake lights. The cop said "well I can see his parking lights just fine, if you can't see his brake lights then maybe you shouldn't be driving." lol
