recovering arm rests?

My center console and arm rests are pretty worn out. I've been looking at the bride seat material and want to use that to recover them. What I want to know is what would I have to do to recover them (having the material stay in place) don't know if its something I can do or if I have to take it somewhere

if you order custom armrest cover from redline goods, it's stitched with an elastic band to keep it in place

You can also just buy the material and do it yourself. I did it and it's pretty easy. I got the bride material from more-Japan.com

Yeah, I found it on there. I just don't know where to start when redoing it. I.e. putting the new material on

There's a DIY on here for replacing the material.
