guys dont do it seriously.

i just tried doing this myself today and it looks terrible!

sure it looks awesome from about 5 feet away. but it looks absolutely terrible! up close, cause u can see creases from the tape on the edges. its just looks very bad.

dont do the mod. i just wasted 6 bucks trying to do this, and it looks so ghetto its not even funny!

...you are supposed to take the emblem off and put the tape behind it

this shit was already explained. you have to take the grill off. theres even links to DIY in this thread. if you didnt read it then its your own fault

^it shouldnt peel because it is held down by the emblem...i am not saying it will last forever, but it shouldnt peel off right away

i work with 3 m vinyl all the time making decals if installed correctly it should last at least 3-5 years

i used some blue masking tape i took the emblem off and put the blue tape down then lightly put the emblem back on a traced the line. then i cut the blue tape layed it down on the vinyl then i cut the vinyl
