$1000 help me!

I have funded and i now have enough money to buy something for my si. I am basically torn between 3 totally different items. First, I want to lower my car, So i was thinking about the HFP suspension kit. Second, The amazing sweet looking AVIC-D3 when it comes out. OR third, a retro to set off the exterior on my si. Help me out i cant choose, i love them all so much but can only choose one. This is my decision, i just want input.

why do you choose the AVIC-D3? I have been leaning on the more than others. But, my car seems so high...

i dont know if you have seen pictures of the D3 yet...but it has a small screenand i just dont like the looks of it. besides that it has a rotary knob for volume....i prefer a button.....i would lean towards the drop and somthing else. the hfp kit shouldnt cost the entire 1000 so you should have money left over to do other mods.

I'm personally debating between the AVIC-D3 and a retrofit. I want the D3 but i dont want to be the first one to get it, since its a new product i want to hear some reviews on it first.

bad piece of advice.. I have the s techs and I would reccomend them.. but some people like to keep their warranty and dont drop for the look.. but for handling

I would get the navi over retro.. because I think it will serve more 'worth' the money.. even though retro provides safer roads.. navi gets you places ;].. helps you not get lost LOL... and if you do go suspension.. go all out (getting a nice sway bar,, tie bars, ect :]

I will not be able to install anything myself. I dont want to void warranty either. If i were to get the HFP i will get it installed by Honda so i can take advantage of full warranty. And, are the S-tech that great without even replacing the strut?

your warranty will still be intact if you buy the hfp kit and install it yourself. you will have the part warranted for 12 months / 12000 or the remainder of your factory warranty (3/36) whichever comes first. but it will only be a parts warranty. labor will not be warranteed as you did it yourself. this works out for me because im anal about people touching my car. i install everything myself...

Get the AVIC-D3. Here's a link with a video of all the features it has. The video is on Urbanracer, which is an excellent website by the way.

I'm glad the video helped. That's what I would be getting if i didn't have my navi already. Believe, it's probably one investment that you will appreciate the most in your car.

As far as a release date, I don't know. You can google the date or just check Pioneer's website periodically. Good luck!!!!!

Quick question, if you do go with the D3 do you want your stock amp/sub/tweeters to still work the way they do now?

Because i want my stock amp and sub to work but all the installers i talk to are are tellimg me that its not possible. and if they did make it possible it would void warranty and kill my amp within a few months
