3rd Brake Light Modification to Hybrid's?

Hey Fellas, I plan on picking up a silver EX sedan this weekend. I have a mod list planned out and ready to go. Except, there's one modification I plan on doing but can't find any information or past experiences. Yes, I've searched like crazy.

I plan on swapping out the 3rd brake light (clear/leds) from the Hybrid to an non-Si sedan but it also looks like this can be done on a coupe as well. Picture for reference below of what I'm talking about. I found the part number for the clear brake light assembly it's 34270-SNC-A01 Hopefully someone has done this or has some insight before I spend the $90 and go into this mod blind so to speak.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the sedan/coupe's 3rd brake light is a bulb or is it leds? Either way thanks for hearing me out.

I think our cars have led's for the third brake light. I know for sure the Si's. I would think that all you would have to do it swap out the brake light.

You would think so but looking at an EX Sedan rear trunk tray diagram. It's got me scratching my head. It looks like a wedge bulb going into a red reflector brake light assembly. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm looking at the license plate light assembly. I'll probably end up messing around with hybrids on the dealer lot this weekend.
