Good Window Tinter in Seattle, WA Area
Hey,
I just recently moved to the Seattle area and I'm looking to find a good place to tint my 07 Civic Si Coupe. I want to know a place that is able to do a good job on the rear side windows since I heard it is a pain with the dot matrix. I heard Dark Side is pretty good. Has anybody used them before? Thanks in advance! |

There's a guy named Andy who owns a shop callled Prestige Window Tinting. It's in Lynnwood. He did my car about a week after I bought it back in December of 2005. My Si was the first new Civic he had done and he did a great job. My tint is still flawless over a year later. I HIGHLY recommend him.
Here's the info: Prestige Window Tinting 2006 196th St SW Suite 104 Lynnwood WA, 98036 425-712-8353 I got hooked up on the price through my brother because the body shop he works for does tons of business with him. You probably won't get it done for as cheap as I did, but I can't imagine he'd charge much more than he did me. I paid under $250.00 but I won't say how much under out of respect for him hooking me up. Good luck! |

yeah i have no gap in mine..any gap is ugly. even though im nowhere near you i paid 160 for mine :-D if you ask me when they leave a gap its just laziness and/or they arent good enough at it to do it right.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the gap either. I talked to Andy at Prestige.
I'm looking to get 35% all around just so I don't get hassled by the cops. I know a lot of people do 35% in the front sides and 20% everywhere else but I want mine to be all the same. I think it looks better. |

Andy took mine all the way to the top. I've had 15% on both my cars (five + years on the 240sx) and over a year on the Si without getting harrassed by the cops for it. I've been pulled over 21 times in that time frame so that gives you a good reference to how much the police care about the tint laws perhaps. The dots on the side windows are hardly noticable and in the rear andy put some black vinyl at the top and those dots are invisible. He'd probably do the side rears if you really wanted him to.
