Carbon Fiber baby

So i went on a shopping spree at Z1 performance (a site sponsor) and ordered a truck load of carbon fiber parts. These are all going on a Galaxy Gray SI coupe

MG Style: $459.00

OEM SI Style Carbon rear wing: $295.00 shipped!

Order from our website:
http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...or&prodid=2116

The Carbon wing is a perfect compliment to the Seibon carbon trunk:

Carbon Trunk: $479.00 + $100.00 shipping

Order from our website:
http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...or&prodid=2115

I also ordered this on ebay to go with the rest of my carbon fiber parts

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

This is why I am getting all these parts

I think all of it together was about $1600 with shipping to Florida.
The gas cap was 80 bux. I'll give it a shot to see how it looks. If I don't like it I will just resell it

BTW I'm not really sure about the gas cap either so don't start flaming on me about it. I may or may not put it on depending on if I think it will look good.

So I'm thinking something here, will the carbon fiber trunk hold up to drilling holes in it and supporting the CF wing? I've never seen this combination done.

I emailed Seibon about this exact question. They said that any shop that is knowledgeable should be able to drill the trunk in order to attatch the spoiler.

I was thinking the same thing when I ordered it. I kind of like the trunk without the wing also so i'll see whats up after the trunk is on and the hood is on. I may just keep it at that and store the spoiler in my closet (or sell it )

The trunk is still built with a frame.....the answer is yes.

Not sure if you're drilling yourself or having someone do it for you, but to drill the holes, put tape over the area and drill it with a small bit. Work your way up bit sizes to keep the CF from cracking. It's actually a lot easier than people think or make it out to be.

I would seriously install the OEM CF hood, trunk, Si spoiler and a roof if someone would make it. That would look so sweet on the GG....

I was looking for a roof also, but the only one out is for the S2000.

I'm having marvie and bear drill the holes because it seems like they know what they are doing.
