Red Suede Doors

Here are a few pictures and a link with more information in it. I am still working on this project, I have to do the headliner as well. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

This was a sample piece for my headliner that I put together just to see how the stitching was going to work.

I did think of that, and my wife mentioned it as well. I can see form that pictures that it all looks like it blends together. I will try to get a better picture with better lighting. In person there is still a defined arm rest and door, where as in the pictures it all blends into one. But one nice think about it is that it will be easy to change if I want to now that I have done it once.

I would have too, but I believe the Type-R's are the same way.

I considered doing red inserts as well, but I think I'm going to go with a carbon shell instead. Your project looks good. I thought about doing the headliner in a diamond pattern. Black suede with red stitching. But I'm not sure with the sunroof in the way, I'm going to like it. We'll see.

Well I think I am going to stitch together the headliner tonight, and depending on how long that takes I may or may not remove the headliner. I have Auto Cross on Sunday, so I should hope to get it done by then. The only question still in my mind, is the pillars are still going to be grey..... Should I couver them in Black Suede? Any other ideas there?

Do you have any pictures? I would like to see how it looks.

I was thinking the RED JDM seats, would they have the same air bag system that would hook up to ours?

But then I would not longer been in stock class for SCCA.

I was thinking the center arm rest might need to be changed out as well, but we will see when I am done with the headliner if I still want to do more.
