Depending on how long you plan to have your car, I would wait until the factory paint looks awful to repaint. Silver can look very nice also, especially with a little carbon fiber here and there.

The nicest looking sedan i have seen in person was a silver non si sedan with hfp bodykit on after market wheels.

Black on a Civic = Deathwish.

The paint on the Civics (and new cars in general) are absolutely awful. Thin, cheap, and eggshell-like.

If you want to repaint it, make sure the paint is high quality.

If you want the door pillars and under the hood and trunk you might expect to pay over $5,000. You should hit up your local shops for quotes.

I love my NBP. When it's chipped up and looks bad, I'll get it repainted. I have a buddy with a really nice paint shop.

1500 only? damn i don't remember it being that cheap unless you just want to paint only the outside part. cause painting the whole car inside out doesn't cost 1500. unless you got hook up if not, damn i want to know where they do that with high quality paint ill pay 1500.

It is better to trade in for a black Civic. You will lower the resale value of your Civic by repaint it!

And why wouldnt it be 5000 or more? any good paint shop using high quality paint will probably quote at least 4-5000, sometimes more. paint is not cheap, and the most expensive part is the labor.

If you have 5K to spent, it is better to trade-in for a brand new Civic and it comes with factory paint!
