09 chrome trim

i have an 09 civic sedan with the chrome trim at the back and it has a keyhole in it, im wondering if the 08 body coloured trim would fit if it had a keyhole too.

no it won't ive already tried it, the key cylinder is different on our 09's so i ordered a 08 key cylinder and it still wouldn't work.

will it still fit if we had the fa5 trim with NO keyhole on a car that has a keyhole?(lx)

its possible i might try this later in the week, i'm going to try a 08 key cylinder and a 08 si garnish i'll update thursday or friday.
