50% Window Tint All Around - Yes or No

I need to tint my windows and I am having a hard time deciding on what % to go. Anyway I narrowed it down to two choices. 50% all around...or 80% up front and 5% in the back. I'm leaning toward 50% all around. Anyone that has 50% all around did you regret not getting darker? BTW I can't get darker in the front since it is illegal that is why I don't want more than 80% in the front and 5% in the back cause it looks just too dark...anyway...

Eeks. Not much of a choice there. I have 50 in the front. 80 is going to be pretty light almost stock. That's a waste of $ if you ask me. If you can go 50 and that's the darkest, I would do that.

So are you 50 all around cause that looks sweet...but maybe I can't take my eyes off your wheels! Heh

again I would only go 80% in the front if I blacked out the back.

How is the night vision with the 50%?
I had 35% before and had to roll down the window all the time.

No. I have 50 in the front and 35 in the rear. The 50 doesn't seem to impede my night vision in the slightest. I actually thought about having the front done to 35%. No need though. 50 is transparent enough that the PA cops barely notice. PA state law says no darker than 70%. Most people say screw it and go to 30 though. Heck, I've never even seen 70 or lighter. 50 looks barely darker than stock.

i did 50 in front 5 in back, i regret not getting 35, its really light, you have to look at it from the right angle in the right light to tell its tinted

I'm still thinking about it.. my old car had 50% front and 35% back, and looked normal :)

No offense to you hondagurl, but 50% looks like there is nothing there. Like..waste of money IMO. your tails have darker tint than your windows.

IMO it doesn't matter how light or dark you have it, as long as you tint all the windows the same %, it'll look nice. I tried different combinations of tint % in the front/black windows, none of them look as good as one % on all the windows.

i did 20% rear and 50% front on my sedan it looks pretty good.
i felt like doing 35% front but then many people got busted already so...

I'm well aware of this, thank you. :) Tint is just one less thing to deal with when you have a lowered car with a grapefruit shooter as your exhaust. Plus, I got over insanely dark tint years ago. I don't drive a limo so why pretend? I like being able to actually see out of my rear window. I also like it that someone can see that a girl just whooped their a$$. And for the look I'm going for on my car, the tint looks just fine.

ya 50% is way too lite, 80% is even worse. go 35% all around if you don't want it too dark. IMO 20% all around is perfect

I think 35 is great. For me. I wouldn't ever go any darker. I may change when I get back, I'm not sure yet.

I have gotten 35% on all my cars, but a friend of mine has 50% all around. It looks pretty good.
