Black or White? grille... that is...

I saw that collegehills has recently added the Si black grille trim for the R18's i have an 09 sedan. and i was trying to decide.

should i get the black trim and install it? or paint my chrome stock one, taffeta white?

ive seen Si's with the black one and then with a taffeta white one, but im at a cross road and cant decide... i was looking for some opionions and thoughts on it?

im leaning towards painting my stock chrome one taffeta white sinse i have the rear license plate trim from collegehills in taffeta white, so theres no chrome on the rear except the H.

wow..to second poster.

to op, it looks pretty clean, i dunno if your willing to spend 70 bucks on a new grille or trusting yourself to do the work..and save some cash..but i'd totally get it if i had cash to spend.

A lot of owners paint theirs white. Get the black one.

the stock one is black. so more people would have black.

i may try it white, sinse the 06-08 si's with a white grill look pretty good, and plus if i dont like the white, it'll be a good base for the black if i decide to change it....

ok, whenever i get money ill try the white. ill have to look at the forcast also, to see when there will be a warmish day so i can paint it. ill be sure to post an update.

I have an 08 twfa5 and im deciding when Im painting mine black lol. I think black looks cleaner for some reason. Then ill prob vinyl my roof black so it can be removeable/ cheaper to do

yep..im doing the same thing to mine. black roof/black hood/black grille..

i plan on doing the black roof, but IMO i think with the 09's sinse the grille seems larger, it'll look better white... ill deffinately post pictures.

Definetely paint it yourself. And paint it white.

I have a black 09. And had a friend paint it black, but it chipped easily. I had to redo it, but was stuck with gunmetal haha.

Plasti dip it black cause then if u don't like it u can peek it off. I did mine and my roof!
