They Finally Came In!! Pics
My Type R side lips came in today! UPS guy left them and they are looking pretty sweet!!!
Im going to go test fit them today to see how the initial fitment is! Since the Mugen front lip fit so well, im hoping that these will fit just as good!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() its made of PU (Polyeurothane) dunno if i spelt that correctly. |

im going tonight to take off the mud guards off the car so i can kinda just stick the lip on. im gonna use the 3m tape and buy new 3m tape since i dont trust the quality of the one supplied.
i tested on my dads 08 civic, and it seemed okay.....it has mudguards too so i couldnt fully fit it on, but the rear and bottom seemed fine. well see tonight! ill take pics! |

well i "test fitted" it tonight since i started the car and ran her for a bit from sitting for a month i was able to get enough room to take off my mudguards.
FITMENT: (i did not use the double sided tape and i did not bolt it on yet) the type r replica side skirts were definitely long enough, but the fitment was not 100% bang on. It seemed as if i had to push in areas to see if it lined up and to fill in gaps that were very apparent. Keeping in mind i did not bolt it to the underside of the car or the wheel well area or use the double sided tape this was probably expected. I just hope that when the side skirt goes on for real in the spring that it will fit nice and flush and evenly. Has anyone had any experience installing side lips? is it normal that it's like that without fully installing it? Last edited by 08civlx; 01-02-2010 at 12:04 AM. |
