door handle peeling paint!!!!

Anyone else have issues with this? It's driving me insane... I've had the car not even 2years. I'm a guy with trimmed nails, no rings, and i'm always careful with objects around my car. But the fabulous and durabil factory paint on the inside of my drivers door handle has begun to peel. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to alleviate or fix this problem? Or does honda sell individual door handles in the paint code or would i have to just repaint mine? Thanks in advance all...

How many miles? If it's still under warranty, go get them replaced.

someone is stealing my internets.... that's a fact.

I remember saying something like "pics of this would be good" and "try using some touch up paint so that it doesn't spread".

I didn't say anything that was unuseful or would warrant a removal of the post... hrmmm...

A quick polish behind the door handle (or even on it) will get rid of 90% of scratches. As for the peeling... again, not sure where it's peeling and some touch up paint on the spot may concel the peel (lol) and will likely prevent it from peeling any further.

I had a same problem, all of my handles were peeling but the driver side one was the worst.
The inside of the door handle was peeled to the plastic, and I take care of the car and dont have rings, nails, etc.
I took it to the dealer they had to get it aproved with the guys higher up in Honda managment.
After a week they aproved only to replace the driver side handle and couldnt do the rest.
But the other 3 were not that bad.
Basically if you car is still under waranty they should fix it.
By the way my dads new civic handle is peeling too and its only a year old, so I guess Honda didn a bad job with them.
