How to make my front/rear H emblems black??

hey guys, i'm new to the board and i was wondering how i could make my Honda emblems on the front and back of my car black. Should i paint them? If so, what paint to you guys recommend? i'm guessing i have to take both emblems off first right? do you guys have any tips for that?
any advice would be great! i'm kinda low on cash so just looking to do some cheap "mods" right now

theres a few DIY's out there.

The back one is easy, use floss or string to remove the glue, then remove the clips.

The front requires the removal of the radiator cover, and depending on what model Civic you have, removal of the entire front bumper may be necessary.

After theyre off, just spray paint them. You can try to sand or snad blast the chrome off. But that is not wise, unless youre paying someone to do it professionally. After that coat with some clear coat, and re-attach to car.

i just popped my honda emblem off (you can reach the push pin things through the inside of the trunk lid) then used satin black spray paint, it was a special kind that bonds to the plastic, it worked great for me

IMO looks like the whole car was repainted and when the bodyshop repainted the car they forgot to take off the emblem.
