Projectors

so i've seen a few pictures with people having projection lamps in their headlights. i have a few questions.. 1) do i have to buy the projectors and install them in place of my current headlights by removing the old ones and installing the new ones 2) if yes for question 1, how difficult is it does anyone know. 3) does any company make a projection head lamp system that i could just bolt in and what's the price difference in buying the whole set up vs piecing it together (if that is possible)

1). Yes, and installing them isn't an easy task, you have to do a retrofit which requires removal of headlights and some cutting and dremmeling
2). It is very difficult if you have no experience. If your going to try it on your own, i suggest you buy an extra pair of headlights in case u scew up. If you don't want to save like 600 bucks, then u can just have some specialists do it for you (customlightz etc.)
3). Yes, there are "so called" jdm projector headlights alllll over ebay on sale for like 200-300 bucks, from what I've heard, they are Crap and ligth output sucks. A projector retrofit is the way to go if you've got the cash.

Probably in the range of $300-$1500 depending on who does the work, what kind of projectors, ballasts, shrouds used, etc.

You can get projectors from a number of places including ebay and hidplanet.
