well its condensation not just a puddle on the dash... dad thinks the interior is warm n when the outside temp drops rapidly its the reverse of a cold glass on a hot day

I've had this happen with my Dodge Ram too. I go from garage to driveway, walk inside while it warms up and come out to condensation all over the windshield.

The car is holding it's heat from the day. Since our cars are pretty air tight...mine is anyway but I've heard others complain theirs aren't...at about 45 minutes from sunrise, the temps outside suddenly drop to their lowest point of the night. Anyone who hunts, has a night job outside, in the military like me, so on and so forth, know of this temp decrease. The sudden difference in temps might be doing it. Try leaving your windows down 1/2 inch and see if it happens again or as badly.
