Will a hybrid lip spoiler cover si spoiler holes?

does anyone know if the oem style civic hybrid lip spoiler will cover the stock si spoiler holes?

i am asking because i want to know before i order this lip spoiler. i think this is the best cheapest solution to covering the stock spoiler holes when mounting a type R wing. i do not feel like buying a new trunk lid for 300 then having quality paint laid down for 300-400 more. I can get the lip spoiler paint matched for 110, and then i can trim it to meet up with the type R spoiler.

so can anyone help me out with this? is it deep enough to cover ALL the stock si holes? this is for a si sedan btw. here is a link to the lip spoiler for 110 painted. PAINTED HONDA CIVIC 4DR 06 07 FACTORYSTYLE LIP SPOILER:eBay Motors (item 370101037414 end time Nov-15-09 09:52:30 PST)

Doubt it, I don't see a "lip" spoiler going back deep enough.

It'll cover some of the holes, but not all.

But IMO having the lip spoiler, AND and additional spoiler is overkill.

Oh ****, I didn't even notice that. You're trying to put the lip spoiler AND the Type-R spoiler? Hahaha, I'm sorry, but that's retarded and you're doing nothing but hurting the looks AND the "performance" of your Si.

why? here is a pic of the mugen wing with the stock si spoiler trimmed down...and i don't think that looks terrible. and less of a wing on the bottom..aka a lip spoiler, would look even better down there.

yeah, but that's probably because the 3rd brake light. the lip spoiler doesn't have that and I bet up close that looks sloppy as all hell.

Yeah that looks sloppy as it is. A lip goes back like what? 2 inches? The holes go back for 4, maybe 5? Put your Si wing back on the car, and trade for someone with an Ex trunk. Filled holes. boom.

Why not just go out and buy the spoiler off a Subaru??? Personally, I think what you're trying to do will make your Honda look like an ultimate "ricerboy". But seriously, the only one you have to please, is yourself---go for it & good luck.

what are you talkin about? i'm trying to cover up the holes from the stock si spoiler in the most discrete manner. the mugen si 4 piece wing has a lower wing to cover those holes, and everyone drools over it. i prefer the style of the type R wing, which is why i purchased it. but instead of plugging the holes with painted grommets, i wanted to cover it with a simple lip spoiler. how is that riceboy?

they dont make the ex trunk in rallye red for a 4 door, do they? a trunk from honda is 293 plus like i said 3-400 for paint. that's 700 extra to cover a few holes. that sucks!

You can plug the holes, and paint them over. There is a DIY somewhere.
