Best Practice: Installing Rear Emblem ?

So i've been trying to get this 2.0 emblem for several months now, and i finally got it.

i want to replace the rear Si emblem with this. my trunk was painted a long time ago cuz some **** keyed it, and the emblem was never put on just right....

so i wanted to ask you guys if you had any suggestions or methods on getting this emblem on perfect the first time.

much appreciated,

borla? I used to have T/A...
not really a scientific way to do that i dont think

just use scotch tape to eye it up till you have it where you want it.....then id underline it with blue painters tape and on the sides....take the scotch off, put on adhesive or double sided tape or whatever it uses and slap it on
