painting front grill

has anyone painted the front grill of their civic a differnt color then the rest of their body if anyone has can u please post some pictures

That's pretty cool. I have a TWFA5 also. I was thinking of painting both portions of my grill TW. I hesitate b/c I wonder if it will look nice.

I think it'd be too much white, but that's just my opinion. Maybe you could get someone to photoshop it for you to get a better idea of what it would look like.

so u want part of the outside of the car to look like plastic. that looks cheap.

matte black is almost the same as flat.

I guess mine is considered a matte finish. The finish and texture that I used is identical to the rest of engine shroud and lower grille. I wanted it to look like it came that way, that's why I opted for it. I used a spray on coating, not just spray paint.

I like to have subtle mods that people don't really notice unless they're looking for them. I don't think it looks cheap and that's really all that matters.
