Talking Today's Project
so i offered to paint my buddies rims today. he has a blue 08 accord coupe and wanted to paint his stock rims, black with a blue lip. also used some blue h decals from grafixpressions.com. let me know what you think, it was the first time and i think it turned out pretty good. sorry for the cr*ppy pics, not the best camera but it works sometimes.

Nice job man and tell him he does not have a choice he has to go lower and lower profile tires too. I just painted my wheels over the weekend too and yes more work than expected !

Nice lookin accord. Good job Brendan!

Now you have some experience to tackle yours. I never seen any 400 sandpaper or pad of sort to first rough up the original finish prior to you squirtin the primer or paint. Roughin it first, will keep whats being squirted there forever.

I was hoping to see the V6 wheels....your friends needs to black out the chrome trim around the windows and on the grill too.

yeah i know i love the v6 rims. it's just a lease but for some reason the dealer allowed him to paint the rims. i think he might be in for a surprise when he goes to turn it in. we'll see though lol
