Si grill on R18. what to do about the Si emblem area..?

I took off the si badge but what do i do about the mount? i guess i could cut it off but it wont be flush after taking it off as it would divet in. should i make a piece to fit into the mount and put a different emblem overtop? the only thing i could think of for and emblem would be mugen but yeah, its not lol. what do you guys think?

I have the same problem brother, i know people have put the civic badge from their trunk there. I was going to paint mine red to match my JDM emblems.

i would never do that "civic" thing. i was thinking about getting a retro honda badge and putting it in. i'll take a look online and see if i can find it.

i'm sorry but you don't want a si emblem but you want a mugen badge? either way your putting a badge that doesn't belong on the car. either leave it empty or maybe a R18 badge. here's my old car with the tap cut off

OP: no Mugen or Si emblems would be appropriate IMHO, so either shave it off or put something custom made. Or leave your LX/EX grille and have it painted.

djpaw, did you follow my DIY? The pics are almost identical

Here's mine in TW... removed the Si emblem, cut off the mount, sanded/Bondo-ed as required and primer/paint/cleared black. Much better

shaved mine, used some quik steel putty (same stuff like mighty putty) sanded it and gave it to the body shop to paint it when i was getting the car fixed.
