I took off the si badge but what do i do about the mount? i guess i could cut it off but it wont be flush after taking it off as it would divet in. should i make a piece to fit into the mount and put a different emblem overtop? the only thing i could think of for and emblem would be mugen but yeah, its not lol. what do you guys think?

I have the same problem brother, i know people have put the civic badge from their trunk there. I was going to paint mine red to match my JDM emblems.

If i were to pick one of those, it'd be the first. The second one just looks extremely cheap to me for some reason.

i'm sorry but you don't want a si emblem but you want a mugen badge? either way your putting a badge that doesn't belong on the car. either leave it empty or maybe a R18 badge. here's my old car with the tap cut off

if you were looking for it you could tell but if you didn't know you couldn't see.

OP: no Mugen or Si emblems would be appropriate IMHO, so either shave it off or put something custom made. Or leave your LX/EX grille and have it painted.

I shaved it off, used spot putty, sanded it, painted it flat black.

djpaw, did you follow my DIY? The pics are almost identical

Here's mine in TW... removed the Si emblem, cut off the mount, sanded/Bondo-ed as required and primer/paint/cleared black. Much better
