09 Si Sedan Grill on an 09 Ex Sedan?

Anyone know if the 09 Si sedan grill will fit on an 09 Ex sedan?

I didnt know that the bumper was different - I thought that all of the 09s recieved the same bumper face lift.

I was hoping that it would fit - I'm not a fan of excessive chrome. If possible, I'm planing on swaping out the rear chrome trunk trim piece, as well as the front grill. I've seen a video in College Hills Hondas site where they show how to put a Si grill on the 06-08s without the SI emblem, but I dont want to order the grill and then be stuck with it not fitting correctly. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

it should fit. 09 si front ends should be the same as the ex/lx/lxs.

I ordered the si front emblem today. The parts department looked it up and the actual grills are the same, so all I need to do is to swap out the emblems. I'll post back up once I've installed it.

Because you said you ordered the emblem, I think you meant you ordered the grill. Putting an Si emblem on a non-Si would be a a no-no unless you want to be made fun of by pretty much everyone anywhere.

OK, I see. Just so there's no further misunderstandings. The grill is apparently the same on all 09 sedans. I am just swapping out the Honda emblem that sits on the grill from the all chrome standard emblem to the painted si type Honda emblem. I am not going to have the letters "SI" anywhere on my car - I would never do that to my car. In fact, I ordered an "EX" emblem to put on my trunk across from the "CIVIC" emblem on the other side. I just dont care for the all chrome standard Honda emblem that sits on the grill.

just out of curiosity, where did you get the grill and how much?

i may want to swap out my chrome grill on my 09 if the price is not outrageous and the install is not too difficult

Prestoguy, I ordered just the si "Honda emblem" for my grill from my local stealership. It came out to about $80.00. I'm hoping that the install wont be too bad, I've looked at how to do it on the older civics (06-08) via a college hills honda video. Now if only I could get rid of the annoying ticking sound that I'm hearing from the back of my car...

The grill itself is the same on both cars, its just the emblem that sits on top of it that is different (according to the parts department who double checked the part numbers anyways).
